New Poetry
From this point on, naaw. Here's what I'm saying. I am going to post some of my poetry. I hope you enjoy it. Sometimes I'll post other stuff, but I bet this becomes a bit of a poetry blog. I hope my one follower likes it.
I grew up in a middle class home in suburban St. Louis, Missouri. I danced with my young mom to the Beatles at an early age. I studied art in school. I once wanted to be a chef in the Air Force. I found out there aren't chef's in the Air Force, they are called cooks.
I moved to Florida in the early 80's and returned to St. Louis five years later. that's when I met my wife of 21 years and we started our life together.
I was inspired to write when my mother was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in 1993. It started with some Christian poetry and evolved into songs and then a novel took over my thoughts and I wrote it.
In 2007 my business was gone (thanks Bush) and I migrated with the birds to Florida. my family followed a few months later.
Sometimes my shift key doesn't work properly.
